Tourism Rossland and Juicy Studios commissioned me to create a clean and simple site for the local mountain bike festival this year. It is a static site with an integrated bhubble.com calendar. I used PHP include files to create the template. Scotty at Juicy Studios designed the logo and I created the website based on that.

Juicy Studios created the graphic layout of the site and then passed it on to me to make it all work.

The site can easily be managed by Chamber staff, they can even change the header image on each section. I created the site in layers and had to account for IE 6 not handling transparent PNG's so that the "bubbles" on the side could sit on top of the header image.

The site has an integrated Bhubble.com calendar for managing events, Chamber staff simply pulls events that they find relevant to the Chamber community from Bhubble.com into their calendar.

Bhubble.com is an online community for small towns everywhere. Events and classified ads are the most used features.

I have also built event calendar tools for integrating into other websites such as destination management organizations or chambers of commerce.

I custom created 80% of the modules used and am currently working on an upgraded version with even more customization. We are looking to lighten the database query load and make a better user experience.
